BENDRODT (6) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 0.8 lengths from the winner in third over 6f at Wyong. Big chance based on that effort. KOMODO DRAGON (9) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten half a length, over 6½f at Wyong on debut. Among the main chances. MAGIC SHADOW (2) turned in an eye-catching run over this journey last time, settling out the back before winding up late to finish 3.5 lengths away in fourth at Newcastle. One of the main contenders.
