HEADSTOCK (3) turned in a fine effort to win by 3.5 lengths at this track and distance last start in a much improved run. No reason he cannot salute again. C'MON MATE (2) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Has found a suitable race. SEPTIME (7) has been freshened up since he was safely held in 14th over 5½f at Warwick Farm six-and-a-half weeks ago. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with two wins from four runs and has to be respected. ZARAGOZA (8) is fitter for two runs back from a break. Turned in a better effort last time when sixth over 6½f at this track.
