In a nice race and deserves another chance. HERE COMES HOGAN (2) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 5f at Wyong. Should be near his peak for this. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. NAKAMA (7) resumes from a lay-off of four months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 5f at Wyong. Opened last prep with a minor placing at Wyong over 5f. Has ability and is a leading player. MAGNOLIA STAR (5) has started twice, missing the frame on debut then doing a better job to finish second last time, beaten half a length over 4½f at Albury. Should be handy in the run. Further improvement is likely.
