NOBLE DECREE (1) was in great form at the end of the last campaign with back-to-back wins, the latest over 6¾f at Doomben five-and-a-half months ago. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be in the finish. CHEVAL CHIC (4) resumes from a lay-off of seven months and is having her first outing under new trainer Declan Maher. Finished eighth at Ballarat over 6f at the opening run last time in work. Ran fourth in a trial at Beaudesert over 5¼f recently. A solid return is anticipated. DREAM LANTERN (5) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by a nose over 5½f at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and is expected to run well again. FLYING SHELLY (10) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
