LARUSSO (1) proved too strong two runs ago at Doomben. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can return to winning ways. SIMPLY FUN (2) went forward last start over 1m1/4f at Doomben and held on well for third, beaten 6 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. CARRAVILLA (3) finished third two runs back at Sunshine Coast then improved last time out to score by a head over 1m1/4f at Beaudesert. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. STAR CHANCE (8) finished second at Sunshine Coast two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m at Sunshine Coast, finishing 6 lengths back in eighth. Nicely placed to turn things around.
