PAULI (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths when tenth over 6½f at Rockhampton two weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he can find the winners' list. GUS THE BUS (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 6 lengths into tenth. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. AFROGINASOCK (4) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish ninth over 5f81yards at Thangool in a disappointing performance. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. FLICK (9) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 6f at Esk. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better.
