CITY CHICK (3) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 5f at Sunshine Coast after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. ON THE TARGET (6) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 22 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when eighth over 5f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 3 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. JAIN (8) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by 1.3 lengths over 5f at Wondai. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from four starts. Expect a bold showing. FAST SONG (2) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Gladstone but couldn't back it up last start when tenth, beaten 15 lengths, over 5f81yards at Thangool. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
