CHINA GROVE (9) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m3/4f at Muswellbrook. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. RED BERYL (2) finished 0.8 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 7f at Barraba, an improvement on his sixth at Mudgee the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BIG SHORT (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a tenth over 6f at Tamworth. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. TOULON FACTOR (3) finished 1.75 lengths back in seventh over 7f at Barraba at the latest appearance just a week ago. Finds a nice race and can atone.
