SMART SHOT (18) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to finish 0.9 lengths away in third over 5f at Quirindi. Can get home over the top this time. CAPITAMY (13) produced a reasonable effort when seventh last start over 6½f at Scone, beaten 1.3 lengths. That followed a win at Quirindi the start prior. Nicely placed to take this out. DUPENNY (14) performed above expectations last time over 5½f at Narromine, getting the prize by 1.4 lengths. Has a high cruising speed. Should be involved in the finish. Fitter and can do much better this time.
