DEEP ROUGE (5) is fitter for two runs from a lay-off, last start finishing 1.5 lengths away in third over 4½f at Newcastle. Fitter and should be in the finish. IRON HAT (9) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 5 lengths when seventh in a 4½f contest at Newcastle two weeks ago. This doesn't look as hard so he can find the winners' list. CASINO LORD (2) finished 13th when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by 1.75 lengths over 5½f at Wellington. Finds an easier race and can get the job done again. UPSIDE (4) finished 6 lengths back in ninth over 4½f at Newcastle last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Can feature in the finish.
