GLOBAL ENCOUNTER (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 31 lengths when eighth over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the ability to take this out. IRONPOT (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1m at Scone, beaten 12 lengths into 13th. Has the talent to find the winners' list. PICCAPEPPA (6) gets out over more ground. On the back of some solid form of late, the most recent effort a second over 1m1 1/2f at armidale. Should park just off the speed. One of the main contenders. NORMAN (2) will find this a little easier than his last run just eight days ago when 14th over 1m at Scone. Can turn things around.
