TRACK AND FIELD (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when ninth in a 1m contest at Wagga six days ago. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is sure to be prominent. DIAMOND CARAT (9) took advantage of the good draw last time and led for much of the way before being swamped in the run home, finishing 11th and beaten 19 lengths over 1m2f at Wagga. Likely to take some running down. CHAR (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.1 lengths when fourth over 1m at Swan Hill three weeks ago. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. TILLMAN (13) was beaten 7 lengths into fourth over 7f at Nowra last time out. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
