HAMAGUCHI (1) broke his maiden last start over 6½f at Goulburn, scoring by a head. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looms as one of the hardest to beat again. RIVERINA LIGHTNING (5) was safely held when seventh last time out over 7f at Narrandera, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a win at Echuca at the previous outing. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SOO KISS ME (8) has a change of rider after she was well held last time when ninth over 6f at Narrandera. Previous form sound and may be worth another chance. NOTLEANORMEAN (4) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found a forward position then knocked up in the straight to finish seventh over 5f190yards at Albury. Better than the last run suggests.
