MAGNA MAK (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 5f at Narrandera after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. MAGIC FOREST (10) worked home well and finished 5 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 5f at Queanbeyan, an improvement on her 12th at Dubbo the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. DENSETSU (3) was in the money two starts back at Wodonga but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at Echuca over 5f. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. HELEN'S CROWN (16) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5f at Tamworth, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
