Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MAKIA (5) is a three-year-old filly who is yet to fill a top-three spot in six starts. Failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last start, beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic). Best form augers well for this. MATHURINE (9) is returning from a lay-off of nine months. Finished ninth at this track (Turf) over 7½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Jose Pinchin.
