DONTSHOOTTHEBARMAN (1) was safely held when fourth last time out over 5f at Turffontein Standside, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Scottsville at the previous outing. Finds a suitable race and can return to the winner's circle. SUPER FAST (10) did well to score at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when third over 6f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. DONQUERARI (8) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.4 lengths over 6f at Greyville All Weather. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. WAR EMPRESS (5) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 5f at Scottsville. Should be prominent from the outset. Must be respected.
