Group 1 placegetter PRAY FOR RAIN (3) did well to score at Scottsville two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when fourth over 6f at Scottsville, beaten 2 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Serino Moodley gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. COIN SPINNER (6) finished third at Scottsville two runs back but was less effective last time over 6f at Scottsville, finishing 3 lengths back in sixth. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. CAPTAIN BOMBSHELL (4) performed above expectations last time over 6f at Scottsville, getting the prize by 0.9 lengths. Should be prominent from the outset. One to consider. HITHEMHARDSUNSHINE (9) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 1.4 lengths over 5f at Greyville All Weather. Fitter for that last hitout and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
