LA CACHE A VIN (16) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Coffs Harbour, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Likely improver with strong prospects. COUNT NICHOLAS (9) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 5f at Sunshine Coast after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. AMARONE (2) finished 1.75 lengths back in sixth over 6f at Port Macquarie last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Top-three chance.
