MAPLE DOOR (1) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1m at Eagle Farm. Suited here and expected to prove tough to stop. CALL OUT (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Gold Coast Poly over 1m1 1/2f after being prominent from the outset. Has the pace and draw to take up a good early position. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. MELTDOWN (2) started at 9/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 3.5 lengths at Ipswich over 6¾f. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SLIPSTREAMING (16) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m2f at Albury. Cannot be underestimated.
