WILDERNESS STAR (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 3 lengths away in sixth over 7½f at Port Macquarie after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. CALEDONIAN (2) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by 0.6 lengths last time out over 6½f at Newcastle. Expected to take some stopping again. VACILLATION (15) travelled in a rearwards position then made a little ground and finished 2.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at Gold Coast Poly two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will drift back but wind up late. One of the contenders. RESURRECTED (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.9 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Ipswich. Another forward showing is anticipated.
