NORTHERN BOOGIE (5) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by a long neck over 5½f at Armidale. Worth following up. PARANA RIVER (6) proved too strong two runs ago at Walcha. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 5½f at Lismore, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. JIVE TURKEY (9) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 4.5 lengths away in ninth over 7f at Ballina. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SUPERSTITIOUS (2) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when sixth over 5f207yards at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Worth another chance.
