DENUTO (4) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fourth at Newcastle over 6¼f, beaten 3.5 lengths. Can improve sharply and may be worth following up. MISS MIDAS TOUCH (13) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish second last time over 7f at Coffs Harbour, beaten 0.8 lengths. Will drift back but wind up late. Well placed and gets her chance to break through. HUMID (12) was beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth over 6¾f at Doomben two-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
