NIGHT FIGHTER (6) finished 4 lengths away from the winner last time at Scone on soft going and gets some weight relief here. Expected to be in the finish. LADY SHOTGUN (4) delivered a nice performance last start when second over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly after she gave away a big start. Won at her only start at this longer journey. Expected to run well. MILITARY AWARD (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Doomben but ran below par last time when 12th and beaten 13 lengths over 7f137yards at Lismore. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
