RIGA (2) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten half a length into second over 6½f at Newcastle after being in contention all the way. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. MAYLEIGH (7) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 6 lengths when seventh over 6f at Goulburn two weeks ago. Going up a level this time but she cannot be taken lightly. KORITSI (6) settled back but wound up late to finish fourth when resuming last start over 6f at Wyong. Solid top-three chance. SAYONARA TWO STEP (9) sat close to the pace last time out but faded to finish seventh, beaten 6 lengths over this journey at Nowra. Deserves another chance.
