CHAMPAGNE SUNSET (18) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2. 25 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at this track. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. CHICAGO KING (1) fought on well for third last start over 7f at Ballina, making it two minor placings in a row. Will find this assignment a little tougher but is one of the contenders. YOUMEANDDUPRE (8) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 4 lengths when sixth over 5½f at Ipswich. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
