RAPID CHEVAL (6) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f at Sunshine Coast when fresh from a lay-off as 7/4 favourite. Tackles a longer journey this time. Sure to prove very tough to beat. FAMILY OF LEAGUE (5) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 1.2 lengths away in third over 1m1/4f at Beaudesert. Should go well. LARIDAE (11) made significant late ground last start to get up for second over 1m1/4f at Beaudesert. Expected to be there at the business end. IMPERIAL HILTON (10) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Taree over 1m1 1/2f after being in contention on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects.
