ABOUT TO EXPLODE (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Doomben, beaten 4.5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to make amends. BOARD MEMBER (15) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.3 lengths over 5f at Toowoomba. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and she is one of the main chances. LADY SHOTGUN (4) resumed over 5¾f at Gold Coast Poly last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and can go on with it. APPELLANT (13) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 2 lengths away in fourth over 6f at Ipswich on July 11. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Blinkers come off expected to run well.
