THE ASTRONOMER (6) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by a head over 5½f at Doomben. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three starts. Big chance once again. TROIKA (9) was below his best last time, finishing ninth and beaten 3 lengths over 5½f at Doomben. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. ROLL UP (10) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage tenth over 6f at Ipswich. Look for a better run this time out. BUGALUGS (2) went forward over 6f at Grafton last time but found one better. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but is among the better hopes.
