ROCKSTAR STATUS (5) is a talented type yet to taste defeat after two runs this campaign, the latest over 5f207yards at Narrogin. Kept fresh for this assignment and expected to measure up again. MIA GUSTO (1) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 5½f at Bunbury. Has further improvement to come and can find peak form this time. MOMBASA (4) started at 9/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths at this track over 1m2 1/2f. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Won't find this as tough so he is set to turn things around. SPIRIT MAN (2) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5f123yards at this track, finishing 11 lengths back in 12th. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
