WELL PLAYED (7) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when ninth over 6f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MAGNIFICENT CARAT (2) started at 11/4 last time on the back of a win at Bunbury two starts ago but was below her best, finishing sixth over 5½f at Ascot. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. GOLDEN FIGHTER (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 5f123yards at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. SPARKLE CORNER (4) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5½f at this track, scoring by 0.6 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Troy Turner who was on board last start. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
