COMMANDS SUCCESS (1) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Seymour but raced below expectations last time over 5f at Flemington, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he can find the winners' list. LAPLAND (6) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 5f at Mornington, scoring by a neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely placed to double the win tally. MR ASSERTIVE (2) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing seventh at Flemington. Will find this easier. Should be involved in the finish. THE ARROW (7) last appeared when she finished fifth over 7f at Cranbourne on July 17. Can make her presence felt.
