Race Tip

SOUTHERN CRESCENT (14) resumed last time out and finished third over 5½f at Warrnambool, beaten 1.5 lengths. A bold showing is expected. BOSSY STAR (6) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 5¾f at this track. Although yet to score at this distance has been in the frame at all four runs and should be hard to stop. MRS ARCHIBALD (11) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 5f at Sandown-Hillside after she was prominent at the bend. Should be peaking now and is expected to do much better. DU CLISSON (9) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 5f at Cranbourne when resuming from a lay-off, beaten half a length. This is the right race and can take this out.
