Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind him. MORTHAN EFFICIENT (7) is back in class after finishing 6 lengths away in sixth over 1m4f at Caulfield two weeks ago. Worth including in this easier race. DUKE OF HASTINGS (1) was always well out of his ground when 5.5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m4f at Sandown-Hillside last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Sale the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. SIRIUS BLACK (2) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Mildura over 1m2f. Good enough on his day and can run a bold race.
