Race Tip

NAVY NINA (12) broke through for her maiden win over 7¾f at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and she is a leading contender. CHILLY CHARLIE (11) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 3.5 lengths back in fourth over 7½f at Ballarat Synthetic. Will take some beating. SACRED EAGLE (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1m at Cranbourne. HOODYS HORSE (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was in contention on the corner before being beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
