NISHINO CRESCENT (4) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 18 lengths when tenth in a 1m5f contest at Ballarat four weeks ago. Has the talent to put the recent run of form behind him. SURELY SPECIAL (8) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 7f at Bendigo, beaten 6 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. TRACK PATCHER (9) comes here following a win over 1m at Swan Hill two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by one length. Serious threat.
