STAR OF IDA (7) made her debut last start at a big quote but defied the market to grab third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 5½f at Wodonga. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. LI'L BRAZEN (2) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 5f at Bairnsdale when resuming from a lay-off, beaten one length. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat. MRS ARCHIBALD (3) is going well with two minor placings from three starts this time in work. Turned in another good performance at her most recent run when third over 6f at Wodonga. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
