SPILLANE (2) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing third and beaten one length over 6f at Kyneton. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. VILLANDRY (4) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Ararat but disappointed last time when seventh, beaten 7 lengths, at Moonee Valley over 6f. Finds an easier assignment and can bounce back. KAZZA JOY (9) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished sixth after being prominent at the turn at her last appearance over 6f at Kilmore on November 24. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for her. ANGEL OF THE SEA (5) settled back on debut last time out but wound up strongly in the run home to finish third over 6f at Moe. Can figure in the finish.
