FLIC EN FLAC (11) made good late ground from the back but never threatened over 6f at Sunshine Coast last time out. Honest record at this distance and looks tough to beat. UNION SPIRIT (5) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by 1.75 lengths over 7f at Dalby. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from four runs. Can measure up again. MENARI MAGIC (6) ran below expectations last time at Toowoomba, finishing fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths starting at 6/1. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. A CERTAIN MAYBE (9) saluted two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when third over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 2 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
