LION'S PRIDE (7) resumes from a lay-off of seven months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6f at Doomben. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Doomben trial. Can make a winning return. DOLLY'S A NATURAL (10) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at Dalby, beaten only half a length. Looks well placed so expect another big run. WHATTA WHITT (3) finished second, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Beaudesert after he was prominent at the bend. Has the ability to find winning ways. ASHILLA (9) returned from a lay-off eight days ago when she was prominent at the bend before being beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth over 5½f at Doomben. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
