Managed to fill a minor placing in the LR Talindert Stakes at this track two starts back before finishing fourth over 6f in the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield last time. Finds a nice race and this might be his day. DR HOOK (5) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5. 5 lengths when seventh over 5½f in the G2 Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. HYDROBOMB (4) showed good early speed last start on debut and fought on well to hold second, beaten a nose, over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Likely improver who is among the better chances. DIAMETER (3) resumed last time out and finished third over 5½f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Everything points to a big run.
