MEDICINAL (2) broke through for her maiden win over 5½f at Ballarat last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and she is a leading contender. REBEL TUESDAY (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 5¼f in the LR Cinderella Stakes at Morphettville, getting home by a nose. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is good enough to play a major role. SIMPLY STEFFI (3) resumed over 5f at Cranbourne last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by 1. 3 lengths. Will find this much tougher but she should be very competitive. BETTER OFF ALONE (5) raced once in the maiden campaign when seventh in the G3 Gimcrack Stakes at Randwick over 5f back on October 4. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
