Well placed to make amends. MAGNASPIN (3) showed good early pace over 1m2f in the LR Victoria Gold Cup (Mornington Cup Prelude) at Caulfield last time and kept going to score by 0. 8 lengths. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. In a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
