BUCCLEUCH (1) has not raced since he finished off last campaign with a strong win over 1m in the LR Taj Rossi (Gibson Carmichael) Final at this track six-and-a-half months ago. Right in this. SASS APPEAL (8) broke through for her maiden win over 7f at Seymour last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Has a wide gate to overcome but she is worth including. JEWEL BANDIT (2) was sent out at 40/1 last time but ran above expectations and won over 5½f at Geelong. Among the main hopes.
