FIORENOT (2) turned in a fine effort to score by 0. 8 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. DARK SIMBA (6) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7½f at Cranbourne after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. AMBASSADORIAL (8) raced on the speed when resuming last start over this course and distance and stuck on well to finish third, beaten 1. 2 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders.
