BOTANICAL BOY (14) was a gutsy winner last time over 7f at Geelong, scoring by 1. 75 lengths to make it two wins in a row. No reason he cannot add to the picket fence. NDOLA (1) looks close to a win, the latest effort a strong second, beaten half a length, over 7f at Geelong. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove hard to hold out. CODIGO (11) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when third over 7f at Geelong. Will find this tougher but shapes as one to consider. RECON (6) had been in sparkling form winning three races on end but missed the frame most recently when fourth over 6f at Cranbourne. Patrick Moloney who has scored on him three times retains the mount. Must be respected.
