MADRINA (6) finished midfield on her return from a lay-off last start over 5½f in the G3 Peter Le Grand Stakes at Caulfield. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Among the leading chances. JUST LIKE GABY (11) recorded a strong maiden win over 5f at Moonee Valley last time, getting there by 4.5 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. RICH DOTTIE (3) tackled the Peter Le Grand Stakes over 5½f at Caulfield last time out when fresh from a lay-off and was beaten 4.5 lengths into eighth by Arabian Summer. Change of rider to Michael Dee who has an excellent strike rate when in the saddle, including two wins. Has winning claims on best figures. PERIDOT STAR (4) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 2 lengths win over 5f at Pakenham last time. Daniel Stackhouse has been the pilot at her last two wins. Not to be discounted.
