COOL MUSIC (16) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Doomben over 1m, beaten 0. 6 lengths. Is going well this campaign, recording four wins from 10 starts. Should prove tough to beat. MEAN APPROACH (2) has put together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on July 29 over 6f when he got home by a nose. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. WRIGLEY FIELD (14) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was one length from the winner in fifth over 7f at Gold Coast. Will find this tougher but is one of the contenders. LA COMETA (13) was close up last time over 6f at Doomben, finishing just 0. 8 lengths from the winner in second. Weight reduction will suit. Mark Du Plessis who has two wins when partnering stays on. Not to be discounted.
