SHAKO (5) finished fourth over 5f at this track when resuming last start, beaten only 0. 8 lengths. Leah Martyn gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. EVERYBODY RISE (8) was quickly into stride and went on to score by 1. 3 lengths last time out over 5½f at Ipswich. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MERCIAN (12) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second. Among the leading chances. INVAHIR (1) progressed nicely last time out to score by half a length over 5½f at Toowoomba. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
