DEMON DARB (17) bounced back last start and scored by 3.5 lengths over 1m at Doomben. Looks well placed so expect another big run. IMATRUESTAR (10) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 7½f here last time. Nicely placed and expected to go well. FREE CARRY (12) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when fifth over 1m1 1/4f at this track. Form at this distance is strong with four wins from eight starts and is capable of going well. SMART LEGEND (15) improved sharply last time out to score by a head over 1m1/4f at Doomben a month ago. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
