LOST ILLUSIONS (3) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by half a length over 1m1f at Gold Coast. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from six runs. Leading player again. GRENOBLE (6) has been thereabouts without winning, the latest effort a fourth over 1m at Wyong. Harder here but should be hard to stop. AROUND THE BUOY (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 19 starts. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. KNEZE (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m2 3/4f at Toowoomba, beaten just 0.8 lengths. Another forward showing is anticipated.
